Grape Jelly

Ingredients:

  • Sugar
  • Grape Juice from Concentrate
  • Water
  • Pectin
  • Citric Acid

    • Ingredients
      • ½ cup butter, softened
      • ½ cup brown sugar
      • ½ cup sugar
      • ½ cup peanut butter
      • 1 beaten egg
      • 1 tsp. Vanilla
      • 1 cup flour
      • ½ cup oatmeal
      • 1 tsp. baking soda
      • ¼ tsp. Salt
      • Grape Jelly
    • Directions
      • Cream butter, sugars, and peanut butter.  Add egg and vanilla; mix well.  Combine flour, oats, baking soda, and salt, stir into creamed mixture.  Spread into a 9 x 13 pan.  Drop dollops of the grape jelly over the top and use a butter knife to gently swirl into the cookie dough.  Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.  Cool 10 minutes.

    • Ingredients
      • Muffins
        • 1 ¾ cup flour
        • 1 ½ tsp. Baking powder
        • ½ tsp. Salt
        • ½ tsp. Nutmeg
        • ¼ tsp. Cinnamon
        • ¾ cup sugar
        • ⅓ cup oil
        • 1 egg, lightly beaten
        • ¾ cup milk
        • Jelly
      • Topping
        • ¼ cup butter or margarine, melted
        • ⅓ cup sugar
        • 1 tsp. Cinnamon
    • Directions
      • Combine flour, baking powder, salt, nutmeg, and cinnamon; set aside. Combine sugar, oil, egg, and milk; stir into dry ingredients just until moistened. Fill greased or paper lined muffin cups half full; place 1 teaspoon of grape jelly on top. Cover jelly with enough batter to make the cups two-thirds full. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until they test done.
      • Place melted butter in a bowl and cinnamon and sugar in another bowl. Immediately after removing muffins from the oven, dip the tops in the butter, and then in the cinnamon sugar. Serve warm.  Yield: 10 muffins.
